Our little town is located in the northernmost part of Leicestershire – we’re very easy to get to, being well served by road, rail and air.
SO HOW DO YOU PRONOUNCE ‘LOUGHBOROUGH’?
“LOOGA-BOROOGA” “LOW-BO-ROW” “LUFF-BRA” “LOVE-BURRAH” You wouldn’t be the first to get it wrong, we’ve heard all sorts! No, it definitely isn’t ‘Looga-borooga’ or ‘Low-bo-row’ – think more along the lines of ‘Luff-bra’ or ‘Love-burrah’. However you pronounce it, you’ll find our beautiful single-site campus at the very heart of the East Midlands. Loughborough itself is a small market town with a massive student population (thanks to us!) and as well as having a vibrant culture of our own, we are lucky to have fantastic links to our larger neighbours such as Nottingham, Leicester and Derby.
