Teaching and learning facilities
University Library Our four-storey Pilkington Library is frequented by all students during their time at Loughborough. With its extensive collection of books, journals and specialist databases plus access to a range of online resources to enhance your skills, it isn’t hard to see why.
The library offers a choice of 1,300 study spaces and 250 PCs, in addition to 24/7 opening hours during revision and exam periods. Specialist support is available for each academic school/department, too.
STEMLab STEMLab is our £17M facility that provides a state-of-the-art learning environment for science and engineering students. Opened in 2017, STEMLab forms part of a wider £25M investment in the West Park of our campus.

Mathematics Learning Support Centre Open to all students who need a helping hand with mathematics and/or statistics, the MLSC offers private and group study areas, daily drop-in sessions and free advice.
Language Centre Learn a language alongside your studies and enhance your communication skills by taking a course with our Language Centre. The Centre hosts a team of tutors from around the world and offers a variety of opportunities to practice your language of choice.
