Welcome to Loughborough We’re delighted to welcome you to our fantastic campus. Today there will be a wide variety of talks and tours on offer so that you can learn more about studying at Loughborough University. Our current students and staff will be on hand throughout the day to answer any of your questions so that you can find out what life is really like here – don’t forget to stop and chat to them. From high quality teaching and outstanding research to superb industry links, everything we do is dedicated to our students and their experiences, before and after they graduate. In-between all the hard work, our Students’ Union will encourage you to make the most of your free time. Owned and managed by our students, the awardwinning Union has an outstanding entertainments programme and provides exciting opportunities to experience new things. If you hear a fire alarm, please leave the building immediately and follow the University’s fire marshals to the nearest evacuation point. Please do not use any lifts or re-enter the building until you are advised to do so. We regret that we are not able to store items of guest luggage during the day.

Getting around We think the best way to get around our campus is on foot – there’s so much to take in and it enables you to really get a feel for our beautiful green surroundings. You can also hop on and off the buses as often as you like – they are free to use throughout the day. All the buses have a drop-floor and are accessible for wheelchair users and prams.

Mathematics Learning Support Centre (MLSC) Drop-in Drop-in to our award-winning Mathematics Learning Support Centre, which provides free, outstanding mathematics support to Loughborough University students of all abilities, from any discipline in the University who have some mathematical components to their degree programme.
