Dignity Health Savings Plan Match Dignity Health is undertaking many efforts throughout the company to perform work in the most effective manner. In the retirement plans arena, we identified Dignity Health’s calculation of the company match as one area in which we can improve our performance. As a result, starting in January, Fidelity will calculate the company match for the Dignity Health Savings Plan and post it to your account. This means that your company match will no longer be listed on your pay stub. The best way to see your contributions to your savings plan and the company’s matching contributions is to look at your account on your provider’s web site.

Pictured above is the Merced branch of AAUW’s science camp put on by Jane Guerra last Saturday, January 18. She now has 2 sessions reaching 25 girls, their moms, and grandmas. These day camps give local girls an opportunity to meet women in fields of science, technology, engineering, and math — role models with paths they can follow. Campers learn how to solve problems and discover careers that align with their passion. Lisa Tarbell, a Pharmacist here at Mercy, volunteered as a special guest and teacher for the camp last Saturday. Thanks Lisa for being a postive role model for these young ladies!
Please see the websites listed below for active savings plans with company match contributions. We hope that this change will also encourage you to visit the sites to find additional information available to you.

Stroke Center Update -
Snapshot of September 2014
Did you know? Mercy Medical Center has been designated as a Primary Stroke Center (awarded by The Joint Commission) since November of 2012.
Dr. Bot (the name for our stroke robot) has completed the following consults: • FY13 = 145 patients • FY14 = 418 patients • FY15 = 406 patients to date (and we have until June to complete the fiscal year) Please applaud our Emergency and inpatient nurses for their wonderful care of our stroke patients. As we complete our stroke audits and gather data, we would like to share with you the chart below. This chart reflects the data pulled from various tracking systems and is incorporated into one spreadsheet to help understand the stroke process from admit to discharge.
