Living Spirituality by Sister Lucille Carreau, DHS Spiritual Services Supervisor

Thought:

“Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out.” - Art Linkletter How do you deal with adversity? Are you hopeful? What are your hopes?

Practice: Yoga When:Tuesdays and Thursdays Time: 5:30 - 7:00pm Place: Mercy Outpatient Center Multi-purpose Room on the Garden Level 2740 M Street Cost: FREE

HOPE is a spiritual virtue. Like any virtue it takes practice to become stronger. In this case, it is adversity which provides the practice. Reflect upon how often you say or think, “I hope…”. Also reflect upon how many times your hopes have changed—old hopes are fulfilled or not, new hopes take their place.
