MU Music Minor

A music minor will provide students with a strong foundational knowledge of the theoretical and structural underpinnings of music – how music is composed and how the craft of musical composition has progressed over time. Students will have achieved a high level of performance competency in their area through participation in musical performances of high quality as a member of the University’s musical ensembles. To help fulfill the requirements of this minor, students can join an instrumental group or a vocal group.
