TUTORING

Our Tutoring Program is certified through the CRLA International Tutor Training Program. We base our program on a group tutoring philosophy where students meet weekly with a trained tutor and group of peers to discuss material and review questions. We offer approximately 400 group tutoring sessions per week and serve 50% of the freshman class. Tutoring sessions occur either in person or virtually depending on University guidelines.

1000 & 2000 Level Courses

(not an extensive list) • Accounting • Biology • Business Administration • Biological Sciences • Chemistry • Economics • Math • Physics • Psychology • Foreign Language

QUICK FACTS

• Over 2,000 tutor requests are filled in our office each semester • Over 100 tutors are trained to serve students each semester

• Hired tutors must have a 3.0 GPA or above, and have received an AB in the course they tutor

• Tutoring is offered for 1000 and 2000 level courses

ACADEMIC COACHING

Our office provides Academic Coaching for all students who are searching for extra support in their academics. These appointments are typically scheduled for one hour and can either occur one time or multiple times throughout the semester.
