Dr. Roper, MD, RPh, has been practicing Internal Medicine in his Jersey Shore private practice for over 20 years; as well as medical consultant work for Monmouth county nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and adult daycares. He is also the creator and patent holder of TIDAmed (The Interim Doctor App); a smart device application that allows patients to remotely and privately connect with doctors for minor ailments.

Dr. Abboud completed his internal medicine residency at Case Western Reserve University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio in 2003, and is American Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He completed a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration on Healthcare Administration at the Isenberg School of Management University of Massachusetts. Driven by his interest in healthcare informatics, he became certified in Health Information Technology through the American Association for Physician Leadership. Dr. Abboud has been appointed as Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine of the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and is currently practicing as part of the hospital medicine team at University Jersey Shore Medical Center.

Our Orthopedic Rehab Program was designed with you in mind and is led by leading orthopedic surgeon, Dr. David Dickerson. The program’s clinically proven orthopedic care pathways, coupled with our signature rehabilitation experience, is an optimal option for your post-hospital rehabilitation.

Chronic Kidney Disease Management

As the area leader in Renal Care, the clinical team at Coral Harbor works in partnership with Board Certified Nephrologists to provide specialized care and peritoneal dialysis (PD) services to patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and related diagnoses. Our CKD Program is overseen by Dr. Sushil Mehandru, a Nephrology specialist in Neptune, New Jersey.

Our program aims to reduce CKD symptoms, decrease disability, increase quality of life and promote independence.

Our Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program under the leadership of Shore Pulmonary and Stephen T. Pucci, Certified Respiratory Therapist, is tailored for individuals with pulmonary disease, with diagnoses such as COPD, post-lung transplants, emphysema, and acute respiratory failure.

Neuro Recovery Program

Our Neuro Recovery Program is directed by by Neurologist Dr. Sumul Raval.

With consultative presence and support, our interdisciplinary team of rehabilitation experts assists those recovering from neurological events, disease, and common diagnoses. Our program is designed to assist those affected by neurologically disabling conditions to improve abilities and return to their most optimal functional levels.

Under the physiatry leadership of Dr. Michael D. Dambeck, we aim to enhance and restore functional ability and quality of life to people with physical impairments or disabilities.

PATIENT CARE & EDUCATION

Our Patient Care & Education is led by Dr. Mira Ahuja who has facilitated Caregiver Support Groups in Monmouth and Ocean Counties for the past 20 years.

Dr. Mira Ahuja has educated caregivers on the progression of Alzheimer’s disease and its effects on the patients’ daily capabilities and activities. She further shows them ways to deal with issues encountered with their loved ones without getting overwhelmed. She educates our staff on effective care of patients and is proud of her affiliation with Marquis Health Consulting Services. She is a staunch believer in the motto that ‘Patients Come First’.

Dr. Ahuja works in collaboration with leading geriatrician Dr. Joshua Shua-Haim, MD, FACP, AGSF, CMD, Professor of Medicine at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

The Urgent SNF™ Service at Marquis Health Consulting Services supports a global health care expectation for the right provision of care in the right place at the right time. Therefore, our solution driven service aims to provide an alternative option to individuals not meeting acute admission criteria, however requiring and/or benefiting from supervisory skilled rehabilitation services, skilled nursing oversight or stabilization.
