Our subacute wing – dedicated to offering the best post-hospitalization care for individuals who need joint replacement recovery, cardiac rehab, pulmonary rehabilitation, neurological, and other acute medical care services – features private and semi-private suites, physiatry-driven rehab programming, stateof-the-art equipment, and daily therapy. Our rehab program is recognized for successfully reducing hospital readmissions and restoring physical function to individuals recovering from surgery or illness.

Orthopedic Rehabilitation

Our Orthopedic Rehab Program was designed with you in mind. The program's clinically proven orthopedic care pathways, coupled with our signature rehabilitation experience, is an optimal option for your post-hospital rehabilitation.

Subacute Rehab

At Aspen Hill we are dedicated to proactively addressing your subacute rehabilitation needs in a modern and tranquil setting. Reflective of our approach, we start planning your discharge immediately upon admission. Individualized care plans are crafted to ensure optimal healing – fully preparing you for your return home.

Geared towards individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, stroke, cardiac or pulmonary condition – our goal is to restore independence and maximum function. To get you back to yourself and home as soon as possible, we deliver innovative therapies that are available up to 7 days a week. Under the direction of a physiatrist, our interdisciplinary team of professionals promotes positive outcomes with a minimal length of stay.

Our comprehensive rehabilitation program features:

• Physical, occupational & speech therapy 7 days a week

Memory Care

Our certifies skilled nursing facility features a Memory Care wing dedicated to residents with Alzheimer's and Dementia. It is under the direction of Joyce Censulo, DCSU. She holds certificates from the National Certification Council of Activities Directors and from the National Certification of Dementia Practitioners.

Our combinations of qualified caregivers, luxurious amenities, innovative activities creates a care setting like no other. Our residents are comforted by the familiar values they hold dear, even when cherished memories start to fade.

Aspen Hill provides a secure and nurturing setting for individuals in need of memory care and support. For older adults experiencing memory loss from living with dementia such as Alzheimer’s disease, a more personal level of care may be necessary. Our combination of qualified caregivers, comprehensive innovative treatments, and specialized attention creates a care setting like no other. We’ve created a neighborhood that is truly home to both our residents and their family members who are always welcome to visit.

Pulmonary Care

Our physician led program, under the direction of Dr. Patrick Scanlon, is focused on helping patients achieve the most active life possible despite any cardiopulmonary diagnoses and physical limitations. We tailor our program for individuals with pulmonary disease, with diagnoses such as: COPD, post heart and lung transplants, emphysema, acute myocardial infarctions and acute respiratory failure.

Our program features:

• Team consults by our board certified pulmonologists

• Tracheostomy care and management

• 7 Days per week therapy services as prescribed

• CPAP/BiPAP and oxygen therapies

• Nebulizer therapy and metered dose inhalers

• Oximetry monitoring and recording

• IV Lasix and Solu-Medrol

• Comprehensive pulmonary education/training for patients and family members

• Case management and discharge planning

• Coordination of home care services including Care Navigation™ Program

• 24/7 admissions direct from the ER

The Urgent SNF Service at Marquis Health Consulting Services supports a global health care expectation for the right provision of care in the right place at the right time.Therefore, our solution driven service aims to provide an alternative option to individuals not meeting acute admission criteria, however requiring and/or benefiting from supervisory skilled rehabilitation services, skilled nursing oversight or stabilization.
