RESEARCH
First main concept of the collection had focused on city Lisbon and key words like a city, fashion and tiles. Exploring the city i found unique climat of metropolis, I discovered as well what is the most important for myself. Afterwards I picked what the best describe Lisbon: pulse, coffee, shop, modern, waves and marine. During the process of creation and research, topic gradually change a shape. From tiles designed by Ivan Chermayeff for Lisbon’s oceanarium,
Mind map make connection between words: tiles, architecture, street fashion and refer to whole research which I done.
I reached to Jamie's Hayon artwork. I kept the modern spirit, characteristic for those both artists. I had analysed shapes, colours and ideas, then i started create the final collection.

THE BIG ONE Lisbon - The City of Seven Hills is one of the oldest cities in the world, Lisbon's port is one of the largest in Europe. The Vasco da Gama Bridge is the longest bridge in Europe.
Typical Lisbon’s tiles.
„Grid” vases, produced by gaia & gino, 2008
Down by the river, along the shore of the city of seven hills you see a mirror surface of buildings. Grab a coffee walk & enjoy, follow the pulse of city. Caffeine circling in your veins like the current of the river. As the night is coming hundreds of lights are dancing. On the line of horizon, the chain of the bridge is shining in the distance. Ships cutting the silent water's surface creating waves.

FINAL FABRIC SAMPLES
For the ďŹ nal fabrics i picked digital pattern, three dimensional structures and weaving. I rejected the ďŹ rst idea, instead of making patterns with digital collage I designed simple graphic shapes.
