Using Photography to capture my thoughts regarding ideas towards ‘Entropy’ through physics and the Natural World - how we effect the world - seen as a visual language.

The surface of every day things from everyday environments; which capture Weather Impaction upon a surface of objects over a period of time to find beauty in the decay. To delve below the surface and appreciate the many layers to be seen - to then contemplate Cause and Effect between Mankind and the Environment. My thinking is inspired by ancient philiosophy, old time explorers, physics and math in nature; with the classical training of a painter, while looking through the lens of a camera.

INFLUENTIAL OBJECTS
2006 - 2013 These were years when I looked around me to visit influential Art Shows - to gain more understanding behind the thoughts and workings of painters hailed as geniuses in their expertise. Observing closely overlap of paint layers, the colours, textures on the canvas - to mimic - inspire my view. The ulimate compliment - naturally occuring representations of the Art I love in the everyday world around us.

ADVENTURE BOOKS
2010 - 2020 These have been my travelling years - when I took off around the globe, to take the things I had learnt in the art galleries out in to the real world - to experience the different environments that make up the planet we inhabit. Observing closely overlap of layers, the colours, textures on the surface to mimic - inspire my view - my work. In 2014, it was decided to stop flying and concentrate on UK landscapes.

PROJECT BOOKS
2010 - 2020 I started Painting seriously after I gained a degree in graphic design. Working on Printmaking Today and Ambit Magazine by day - painting furiously by night; using my lunch breaks to read and discover new views of how our world is organised by Order originating from Chaos. Every now and then I’ll put on a show of work when I feel I have something to say - other times I am Art Full-Time.

INSPIRING THINKERS Since Art School days I have realised Art and Science have always had a coalalese; in the imagination required to absorb a factual, to create fiction. I published my first series of hand bound books in 2010, but since 2016 all my books have appeared online only. To be used as an added prop to look below the surface for what my visual language has to offer. Simplify with a view to colour, texture and Natural found Composition. To explore Weather Impaction and Human Interaction in the Enviornment to just Stop and Think for a little while.
