T HE LI FE S TORY OF

Birth A precious bundle of joy was sent from God to John Arthur Mann, Jr., Tracye Renee Mann and Jessica Ashley Mann on February 17, 1996. This beautiful adorable baby boy was truly an added blessing to the atmosphere and joy in this home Education Trey was educated in DeKalb and Gwinnett County School Systems. He attended Pine Ridge Elementary School, Trickum Middle School and Parkview High School. After graduating, he attended Georgia Southwestern College and majored in Business Accounting. He recently decided to change his major to Business Management.. Faith Trey accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at a very young and tender age. Trey was well acquainted with having a personal relationship with God. He was raised in a Christian Home and also influenced by Christian grandparents. Trey was baptized by his father. He was a proud PK (Preacher’s Kid). He loved his neighbors (known and unknown). Sports Trey played several sports growing up. He played football, baseball, basketball and wrestling. His most passionate sport was wrestling. His father shared a story of when he played little league football. Trey’s coach got in his face, looked down at Trey and said “You must be a Mama’s Boy”. Had to be unexpected but Trey looked up at him and admitted “I am a Mama’s boy, NOW BRING IT!” Employment Trey was a dedicated and hard worker. He was employed at the Department of Juvenile Justice YDC in Sumpter County Georgia. He loved working with young boys who were incarcerated for minor and major crimes. His dream was to open a Garage for wayward young men to develop skills as an Auto Mechanic. He also worked at Enterprise and was currently employed at Auto Zone as the Store Manager in Snellville, Georgia. Hobbies Trey loved to watch movies and had an extensive movie collection. He loved reading Christian and Life Changing Books, listening to Christian Rap, Country, Jazz and Old School Music. Enjoyed working on cars and had an impressive knife collection. As a Son Trey was a jewel of a son. He was both loving and supportive of his father and mother. He loved helping his dad with almost everything. He was an awesome cook and found joy cooking delicious meals for his family. He had many loving, fun and silly moments with his mom and there was nothing he would not do for her. They spent priceless hours playing music and dancing.

As a Sibling Trey was a treasured brother. As the scripture states, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will also be.” Trey and his sister shared a bond unlike any other. The love they shared was like a battery cell, when one cell was low, the other knew just what to do to love the other back to life. They shared everything, gave freely to each other, supported faithfully, protected fearlessly, laughed joyously, corrected and challenged each other lovingly and lived fully. They also had dance offs and shared countless silly moments. Even in times when they weren’t together they were close in heart. As a Nephew and Cousin He loved his aunts, uncles and cousins..Whenever Trey had an opportunity to attend a family event, he found pleasure in entertaining the younger ones. It was his desire to make sure that they would have a good time. He enjoyed them and they enjoyed him. They looked forward to his presence at those gatherings.. Friend “A friend loveth at all times and sticks closer than a brother” was his M.O. He Was... by Jessica A. Mann

From the day he was born, he was a bundle of joy and strength, a brother born for adversity. He went through adversity. Tiny yet mighty, he overcame trials and feats, and his strength was seen through his ability to endure, and he endured. He grew tall and strong in stature and his presence exuded might. He was Strong. Just because he could, didn't mean he would. Even if justified, he put down his pride to rise above anything less than kingly behavior. Docile over hostile. He was Meek. Courage is not the absence of fear, but doing what needs to be done in its presence and through. He never went searching for trouble nor cowered in fear. He stood ready for the fight. From the hospital rooms, on bended knee, face to face or sword in hand. He was Courageous. True wisdom isn't manufactured here. Beyond his years he possessed wisdom foreign to most. Spend time among them and you become them and then you help others become. In their midst he suffered no harm. He spoke as one, he moved as one, He was one of the Wise. Though strong and courageous, he handled with care. A kind word, quiet presence and loving embrace were his strongest suits. His patient, persistent servitude was his tenderness. He was Gentle. Freely he gave to any in need. Around the clock duties to do good deeds, and his left and right hand never said a word. How he moved, was how he was heard. He changed many lives through charity. He had clarity and never questioned who, what, when, where, why, and how to give. He was Generous. He was fearfully and wonderfully made. The earth was blessed with a wonder. He walked this earth with big dreams, a big heart and big love. You know by the way he showed valur to others. How he honored his father, respected his mother, protected his sister and loved his brother. To know him was to know strength, meekness, courage, wisdom, gentleness, generosity and so much more... but to truly know him was to love him and be loved by him. He was a Treasure... His name is John A. Mann III.
