ActewAGL Distribution trialling new appointment confirmation service. ActewAGL Distribution will be trialling an SMS appointment confirmation message for minor customer initiated work requests including standard greenfield and brownfield sites, meter board upgrades and solar installations. EDITION 4-2015
The trial will see SMS appointment confirmation messages sent, two days prior to the appointment, to the electrician who submitted the request for service application.

Following the three month period, the impact of the trial will be assessed before deciding on a long term implementation of SMS appointment confirmation messages.
