MBI'S Perspective

A Growing MBI Team

BY CHAD KLEPPE PRESIDENT/CEO

If you attended the most recent Annual Winter Conference, you might have seen a few new faces on the MBI team. In fact, there are a total of five new individuals who have joined the MBI team. These folks are a great addition to MBI and reflect the core values of MBI to be engaged professionals in service to others.

Adam DoBraska

Member Services Associate

Adam will be our go-to for workforce efforts, as well as being the point person charged with member recruitment. If you want help in coordinating with a school to talk construction career advocacy, or have a trade partner who would benefit from an MBI membership, Adam is your guy!

Christy Miller

Accounting Manager

Christy joined our team almost a year ago, so I guess you can’t consider her “new”. Regardless, Christy handles all things related to accounting for our organization. There are a lot of moving parts in MBI and Christy is able to manage it all.

Landi Sasek

Administrative Assistant

Being our primary admin, Landi makes everyone’s job a little easier. Joining us last fall, Landi brings a wealth of organizational experience to MBI. She is also bi-lingual and one of her many projects has been to translate our tool box safety talks into Spanish.

Kim Hodne

Safety Consultant

By far our most experienced safety professional, Kim brings a wide array of training and expertise to CSSI. He can help develop a program from the groundup to implementation with a focus on sustainability. He has written many custom training programs of all types and enjoys time in the classroom training. He realizes it’s the employees that are most affected by safety’s success and they must have the resources and support to take ownership in safety because they (the employees) must believe in safety - and not just because they are told to.

Chris Pankow

Safety Consultant

Since 2004, Chris has been a volunteer firefighter, first responder and certified EMT. In addition, he assists with coordinating training activities, expanding his knowledge into high/low angle rope rescue, grain bin safety and hazmat, among many other public safety initiatives. He also has experience in heavy-equipment operations, which is where his passion for training and safety began. Chris has an entrepreneurial-spirit, combined with a community-based ethic making him an effective cultural change agent.

MBI is fortunate to have talented, hardworking staff members who constantly strive to create value for your membership investment.
