The Comparative Urban Atlas vol 2 is the result of an undergraduate and graduate level seminar at Syracuse University - School of Architecture. It compiles visualized data across 8 select cities throughout the globe, with each city exhibiting conditions of the contemporary city. The Atlas proposes mapping as a strategy of investigation at the scale of the city, and challenges students to critically evaluate the making of maps to "unpack" certain layers of the city.
