"Intuitive Mapping - An Introduction to Critical Cartography" vol 1 is the first of a sequence of studies in critical cartography and is the result of a sequence of graduate level courses at Syracuse University - School of Architecture. The book proposes mapping as a strategy of investigation at the scale of the city, and challenges students to critically evaluate the making of the maps to "unpack" certain layers of the city.
