Waste collection points

Amsterdam has six waste collection points. From Monday to Saturday from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, you can dispose of all your waste free of charge. The waste collection point “Het Afvalpunt” at Henk Sneevlietweg 22 is open every Sunday from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. Collection of bulky waste

In Amsterdam-Zuid, you must first report bulky waste before you place it outside. You can make an appointment online (www.amsterdam.nl/afval-en-hergebruik/grofafval/) for the collection of your bulky waste. You can also make an appointment by calling 14 020 (Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm).

The Recycle Shop also collects

Are your belongings still suitable for reuse? In many cases, the Recycle Shop can collect your belongings free of charge. They come to your home on a day and time that suits you. You can go to www.kringloop-info.nl to look for a recycle shop near you.
