Your sponsor can also apply while you are already in the Netherlands. However, it is not certain whether you will receive a residence permit. It can also be difficult to get all the necessary documents in the Netherlands. If the application is granted, your sponsor will be notified when the employee can collect their residence permit. How to apply for a Dutch residence permit with an Authorisation for Temporary Stay (TEV entry and stay procedure) If you simultaneously apply for an Authorisation for Temporary Stay (MVV) and a residence permit, please follow the TEV entry and stay procedure before coming to the Netherlands. If you have a sponsor in the Netherlands, they can start the application process on your behalf. You can also start the TEV entry and stay procedure at the Dutch embassy or consulate in the country where you live. Dutch residence permit application forms You can find digital versions of most permit application forms through the IND. You can also collect forms from IND Desks (by appointment). Decision period of the IND After submitting your form and paying the fee, the IND will assess your application.
