Dear Theatregoer

A very warm welcome to the spring season at St Helens Theatre Royal and the start of what is a very special year for us all here at the theatre. 2019 marks 20 years since Regal Entertainments Ltd started running this wonderful venue – and what a 20 years it’s been! This season promises a stellar line-up of live music with tributes celebrating some of the globe’s biggest stars, including Prince, Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly, Michael Jackson, Patsy Cline, Bon Jovi, Little Mix, and Elvis Presley. Dance fans won’t want to miss Strictly’s Ian Waite and Vincent Simone in The Ballroom Boys, Gaelforce Dance direct from Ireland, or Vienna Festival Ballet’s enchanting Giselle. Be thrilled by the roarsome Dinosaur World Live; spend an evening with some Liverpool Legends, or the broadcasting legend that is Sir Michael Parkinson. Catch the premiere of our new Country-infused jukebox musical Achy Breaky Bride or catch up with those Hormonal Housewives.

No St Helens Theatre Royal season would be complete without an auditorium full of family fun. Our hugely popular production of The Wizard of Oz is this Easter, while young fans will also love Twirlywoos and The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show. On behalf of the whole team I would like to thank you for your continued support of our venue, and I look forward to welcoming you back to the theatre very soon. Best Wishes Chantelle Nolan Theatre Manager

Theatre Royal Trust The Theatre Royal is owned by the Theatre Royal (St Helens) Trust who retain responsibility for its external maintenance and is tenanted and operated on behalf of the Trust by Regal Entertainments Ltd who are responsible for the management of the theatre and for all its productions.
