FAMILY FIRST, COMMUNITY ALWAYS: the Brightaire ethos

Brightaire Property Services has a simple, yet powerful ethos: family first, community always. Since 2015, when Noddy and Brigitte DeCourcy took over the local carpet cleaning business, they’ve been weaving their family values and community involvement into the fabric of their work.
Always intending to build something that could be passed down to their children, that vision started taking shape with daughter Nikita helping Brigitte in the office and son Keegan out in the field with Noddy.
The family circle has expanded with Keegan’s wife, Sarah, joining the office team, bringing fresh ideas and energy. Even their three-year-old, Theo, is eager to pitch in, though his ‘help’ is currently limited to enthusiasm from the sidelines.
For the Brightaire clan, family extends beyond blood ties. Their commitment to the community is evident in their long-standing volunteer work. Tune into Sunshine FM, and you might catch Noddy’s familiar voice hosting “70s at 7 with Noddy” or his Sunday afternoon show. Meanwhile, Brigitte’s decades-long involvement with Football Queensland and the Wanderers speaks volumes about her passion for local sporting families. Keegan has shown he’s a chip off the ol’ block and has his parents’ giving nature. He’s a familiar face to many locals, particularly the older residents who appreciate his offer of a cuppa during service calls. Brightaire also donates funds and time to deliver Christmas gifts to underprivileged children in rural areas each year.
When Brightaire is on the job, clients aren’t just getting clean carpets but connection, too.
As Brigitte and Noddy look to the future, it’s clear that this family business is about more than just cleaning. It’s about building something meaningful for the next generation while providing a dependable and fairly priced service to the community they love calling home.
