Before we know it, the colours of Christmas will be coming our way! It is such a busy time of year that we can get caught up in our own admin demands and miss the opportunity to share in the festive joy and shine!

Late November sees the return of Sculpture on the Edge, a major arts event run by Arts Connect at Flaxton Gardens. Our aim is to enable local businesses to gain valuable leverage from this outstanding event in the lead-up to Christmas.

Our monthly Coffee and Social events allow us to come together and plan exciting ways to encourage our community to shop locally and add sparkle to holiday fun and festivities. We’re launching our Christmas Season of JOY on November 14 at Kondalilla Restaurant.

Our Arts and Events Committee is organising a twilight Christmas Market for December 7, a perfect family event.

This year, our Village Green will glow each night and our magnificent Christmas Tree will shine from December 7. Businesses will be encouraged to add some seasonal sparkle with prizes for the best-dressed businesses, which will be generously sponsored by Cr Winston Johnston.

The MCOC is committed to informing members of important issues and raising awareness of opportunities throughout the year.
