THE MANUFACTURING EXCELLENCE FORUM
The Manufacturing Excellence Forum Sunshine Coast (MEFSC) is a not-for-profit initiative born from the visionary efforts of the Sunshine Coast Council and fuelled by the passion of locals committed to the region’s future. Director Tim Kelly says, “We offer a vital platform to unite the local manufacturing community and focus on bringing natural organic interactions and industry updates without the fluff.” This helps businesses thrive in an ever-evolving environment.
At the heart of MEFSC’s mission is a drive to increase the production of Australian-made goods, focusing on products from the Sunshine Coast. Through a dynamic combination of events, outreach programs, workshops and community-building activities, MEFSC empowers manufacturers to navigate challenges and seize growth opportunities. Whether it’s scaling operations, embracing digitisation and automation, or developing a new product and bringing it to market, MEFSC is dedicated to helping manufacturers define and achieve their own success.
Collaboration is key to MEFSC’s approach. We foster partnerships that open new opportunities and strengthen the Sunshine Coast’s regional economy. Through MEFSC, we’re shaping the future of manufacturing on the Sunshine Coast, driving innovation and creating a lasting impact on the region’s economy.
