Wir sind Überzeugungstäter. Nicht nur als Radfahrer und Outdoorfans, sondern auch als Menschen, die auf ihre Weise einen Beitrag zum Erhalt unserer Natur leisten wollen. Darum machen wir umweltfreundliche Produkte. Darum sind Nachhaltigkeit und Fairness für uns kein Trend, sondern ein Muss. Darum reicht es uns nicht, lediglich nachhaltige Materialien zu verwenden und alles andere links liegen zu lassen.

Heute lieben wir es, stylisch zur Arbeit und nach dem Büro direkt auf den Gipfel zu gehen. Deshalb entwickeln wir Bekleidung, die sowohl in der Stadt, als auch in der Natur keine deiner Wünsche offen lässt. Egal ob Wasserdichtigkeit oder Alltagstauglichkeit, wir entwickeln Produkte, die stylisch aussehen und von Kopf bis Fuss durchdacht sind. Das wir dabei auf Materialien zurückgreifen, die nachhaltig bis ins Detail sind, ist für uns selbstverständlich. Genau deshalb verwenden wir Merino als nachwachsenden, natürlichen Rohstoff, leisten unseren Beitrag bei der Säuberung der Ozeane, indem wir Nylon aus recycleten Fischernetzen einsetzen, und: Bei uns gibt es keine PFC haltigen Imprägnierungen.

Triple2 ist von Grund auf und in allen Bereichen als nachhaltige Firma aufgebaut. Deshalb setzen wir auf nachwachsende Rohstoffe, recycelte Materialien aus Europa, umweltfreundliche Verpackungen und kurze Wege. Denn: keines unserer Produkte soll zum Nachteil der Menschen werden, die Triple2 ausmachen.

Der Rest ist Muskelkraft. Denn wir sitzen lieber auf dem Bike als im Auto. ALL ASS - NO GAS!

Angefangen hat es 1994. Damals entdeckten wir diesen epischen Trail am Gardasse, der bis heute den Namen 222 trägt und zum Namensgeber für triple2 wurde. Wir gingen mit abgeschnittenen Jeans und T-Shirts auf diese Entdeckungsreise. Das hatte Style. Funktion gab es keine.

Triple2 wants to make a difference - Not just as cyclists and outdoor fans but as nature lovers. This is the reason why we make environmentally friendly and fair products. For us sustainability and fairness is not a trend, but a must. It is not enough for us to solely make use of sustainable materials and neglect the rest.

We want to ride with style to work and afterwards climb up to the next summit. For this reason, we develop clothes that work perfectly in nature and in the city. Whether you are looking for water resistant or normal everyday clothes, our products are both stylish and packed from head to toe with functionality.

Triple2 was founded on sustainable roots and has kept this direction. We rely as much as possible on renewable and recycled materials from Europe, environmentally friendly packaging and short transportation distances. We commit ourselves to fair wages and working conditions. Moreover, we are not producing in Asia, but all our products are exclusively made in Europe.

That the materials we use for our products are sustainable, goes without saying. One natural material we use in our products is merino – nature at its best. Another great sustainable material we use is made from old fishing nets – a material which has lived many years in the ocean. From this ocean waste material we create new functional bike wear. A big problem in the outdoor sector are non PFC-free clothing. PFC is a substance which hardly is degradable and can be harmful for humans. For this reason, we solely choose materials which are 100% PFC-free.

It all started in 1994. In those days we discovered an epic trail with the number 222. Its perfect symbiosis between beauty and function at Lake Garda had impressed us. This trail is what triple2 stands for. We love sustainable, timeless design and yet don’t want to miss out on perfect function.

Unendliche Weite, unendlich viel Wasser. Touren am Meer verführen dazu die Seele baumeln zu lassen und diese Weite einzusaugen. Doch beim Blick aufs Wasser kommt uns noch ein anderer Gedanke: Leer gefischt, vermüllt, verdreckt. Unsere Ozeane verkommen zusehends zur Müllhalde der Menschheit. Deshalb setzen wir seit 2014 auf recyceltes Nylon – gewonnen aus Meeresmüll. Genauer gesagt aus gebrauchten Fischernetzen. Ein kleiner Beitrag, zugegeben: aber ein erster Schritt. Endless horizon, endless water. The sea is the perfect place to take a deep breath and relax. Another thought arises when you look at the see: littered oceans and filthy beaches. Our oceans are turning into the garbage dump made my humanity. We want to make a change. We have been using recycled nylon since 2014 – obtained from ocean waste. More specifically, from old fishing nets. We admit, it might only be a small contribution, but a first step.

The Story – How ocean waste material is collected and recycled Taucher sind auf dem Weg zum Meeresgrund. Sie suchen einen Schatz – abgewrackte Fischernetze. Häufig gehen die Netze auf See verloren, oder werden absichtlich verklappt. Eine gefährliche Falle für Meerestiere, und zum Teil Ursache für schädliches Mikroplastik. Die Netze bestehen aus Nylon, einem wertvollen Rohstoff. Um Sie nutzbar zu machen, bringen Taucher die Netzte an die Oberfläche. Danach werden sie gesammelt und zusammen mit anderem Nylon-Müll in Europa recycelt. Aus dem neuen Garn strickt unser italienischer Partner exklusive Stoffe, die wir schließlich in Kroatien zu unseren Performance-Produkten verarbeiten. Damit leisten wir einen Beitrag zur Säuberung der Meere und zur Ressourcenschonung, denn wir sparen durch den Einsatz des recycelten Nylon pro Kilogramm Stoff 5,7 kg CO2 und 1 kg Rohöl. Divers are on their way to the sea bed. They are looking for a treasure - wrecked fishing nets. Often these are lost at sea, or deliberately dumped. A dangerous trap for sea animals. These nets are made of nylon, a valuable raw material. Divers retrieve these fishing nets from the ocean. Together with with other nylon waste they get recycled in Europe. The yarn is then processed into a fabric which we use for our performance products. Our ocean waste products are a real contribution to a more sustainable life, actively cleaning oceans from their waste. Through making use of this recycled nylon we save per fabric kilo 5.7 kilograms of CO2 and 1 kg of crude oil!

Die Race-Tight für Rennrad und Mountainbike muss passen wie eine zweite Haut. Dank des hochelastischen Materials aus recycelten Fischernetzen gelingt das. Die SNELL Bib ist aus drei Materialien gefertigt. Im Sitzbereich schützt eine abriebfeste Oberfläche. Beim öl- und salzwasserbeständigen Shell-Material setzen wir auf ultra flache Nähte. Select the best wool Wir wollen Wolle! Egal, ob in Form eines Shirts mit Fasern so fein, dass man es direkt auf der Haut tragen kann, oder als luftig gekämmte Isolations-Schicht, wie in unserer DUUN Jacket. Zum Einsatz kommt bei uns Merino-Wolle aus Neuseeland und Australien und reine Schurwolle aus Deutschland und Österreich. Dabei legen wir Wert auf glückliche Schafe. Das heißt: artgerechte Haltung und kein Mulesin. Zudem werden unsere Merino-Materialen in Deutschland und Europa gestrickt, gefärbt und veredelt.

We love wool - but you need to select it well! For our shirts we use the finest fibres. They are so fine that you can wear them directly on your skin. For our insulation layers, like our DUUN Jacket we use combed wool. The origin from our merino wool is New Zealand and Australia and our combed virgin wool stems from Germany and Austria. For us it is important that our sheep have good grazing grounds, are treated well and the wool is mulesing-free. Furthermore, our merino materials are knitted, dyed and finished in Germany and Europe.

Äste peitschen mit nassen Blättern auf unsere Jacken. Der Wald dampft. Wenn es nass wird, brauchen wir wasserdichte Bekleidung. Egal ob beim Ritt durch den Wald, oder beim Shoppen in der Stadt. Viele Hersteller erreichen das mit giftigen, PFC haltigen Chemikalien. Wir zeigen, dass es auch ohne geht: Unsere Produkte werden ausschließlich mit PFC freien Imprägnierungen ausgerüstet. Stay dry - Stay PFC-free! Per- und polyfluorierte Chemikalien (PFC) werden immer dann eingesetzt, wenn eine Imprägnierung notwendig ist – egal ob in Coffe-To-Go Bechern, Verpackungen oder bei Outdoor- und Fahrradbekleidung. Allerdings reichert sich PFC in der Umwelt und in Organismen an. Es gilt sogar als Krebserregend. Es geht aber auch ohne. Einkaufen ohne Plastik-Verpackung? Machbar! Coffee-To-Go im Mehrwegbecher? Klar! PFC freie Imprägnierung bei triple2? Standard – schon immer! Perflurochemicals (PFCs) are used whenever an impregnation is required – they are used in coffee-to-go cups, packaging or outdoor and cycling clothing. However, PFC is accumulated in the environment and in organisms. It is even considered to cause cancer. Lets stop this pollution and use the alternatives! Shopping without plastic packaging? Do-able! Coffee-to-go in reusable cups? Possible! PFC-free impregnation at triple2? Of course – since the beginning!

Unser Winterparka heißt nicht umsonst SCHAAP, denn wir lieben Wolle. Deshalb besteht der Parka aus feinstem Tuchloden und die Füllung aus unserer Woll-Isolation. Damit ist der Parka nicht nur sehr atmunsaktiv, sondern auch besonders wasserabweisend. Für den Ritt auf dem Bike kann der Frontzipper in zwei Wegen geöffnet werden. Zudem lässt sich ein großflächiges Reflektor-Patch am Rücken anbringen. We love nature and natural products – for this reason we have created a woollen winter parka: our SCHAAP Jacket. The parka is made of the finest German woollen Loden and the filling is made of a wool insulation. The great thing about this parka is that it is very breathable, super water repellent and definitely PFC Free! Wir gehen eine Stufe über das bewährte recycelte Polyester hinaus und setzen auf deutsche Herstellung und eine Isolierung, die aus 88% Schafschurwolle besteht, die mit einem feinen Netz aus Polylactid (Maisstärke) veredelt wird. Mit PFC-freier DWR und integrierter Packtasche in der Innentasche. We have gone one step beyond a common recycled polyester insulation. We rely on German manufacturing. Our insulation material consists of 88% pure virgin wool, which is refined with polylactide (corn starch). This gives the insulation stability. Advantage: a 100% natural product, significantly better sweat absorption and much higher wearing comfort – no matter if wet or cold. Our DUUN jacket has a PFC-free DWR and is in itself packable.

Bei der neuen SMUDD Jacke stellt unser japanischer Lieferant uns ein exklusives Material zur Verfügung, welches durch seine Leichtigkeit und seine extreme Atmungsaktivität besticht. Damit ist es uns möglich eine 2-Lagen Regenjacke herzustellen, die lediglich 160 Gramm wiegt (Damen-Größe S), eine Wassersäule von 20.000mm aufweist und dennoch eine unglaubliche Atmungsaktivität von 70.000 g/m2/24h an den Tag legt. Verschnitt, Stoffreste, Ausläufer – in einer Textilproduktion bleibt immer Material übrig, das viel zu gut ist, um es zu entsorgen. Deshalb machen wir uns die Mühe, aus Restmaterialien neue Produkte zu entwickeln und herzustellen. Und deshalb lieben wir unsere Taschenserie so! Denn sie schafft Ordnung auf Reisen und in unserem Stofflager.

Cutting scraps, fabric leftovers, production waste - in a textile production there is always material left over that is far too good to dispose. We dont like waste – for this reason we develop and produce new products out of "old" fabrics. We love our series of bags as on the one side they keep your luggage tidy and clean and on the other side keep our fabric warehouse neat.

Wir lieben Wolle, weil sie so viele Vorteile in sich vereint, die auch im Sportbereich sinnvoll sind. Wolle ist bei feinen Garnstärken sehr komfortabel auf der Haut, reguliert die Temperatur ideal und hemmt Gerüche – und das alles ganz natürlich.

We love wool! Not only because it is a natural material, but because it combines so many advantages, which are useful for sportive activities. Fine wool is very comfortable to wear on the skin, it regulates the body temperature perfectly and inhibits odours from arising - and all of this naturally.

Wird die Wolle zum Loden gewalkt, wird sie wasserdicht und bleibt gleichzeitig extrem atmungsaktiv. Unsere Woll-Isolierung ist zudem mit 40-60 Gramm extrem leicht und wärmt auch in nassem Zustand – egal ob als Weste oder in unserer DUUN-Jacke. Dabei verwenden wir sowohl Merino-Wolle aus Neuseeland und Australien, als auch Schurwolle aus Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz. Wir garantieren dabei eine Behandlung der Tiere, die ohne Mulesing auskommt und eine natürliche Aufzucht und Haltung der Schafe. Wenn dagegen Wasserdichtigkeit, Winddichtigkeit, hohe Elastizität, geringes Gewicht, oder Daunendichtigkeit gefordert sind, braucht es synthetische Materialien. Auch hier gehen wir so umweltfreundlich wie möglich vor. Die meisten Stoffe werden aus recycelten Materialien umweltfreundlich hergestellt, meist nach dem Bluesign®-Standard. Besonders wichtig ist unser recyceltes Nylon-Garn ECONYL®, welches aus alten Fischernetzen und Textilabfällen in Europa zu 100% in Europa hergestellt wird. Das ist unser Beitrag für eine saubere Umwelt und saubere Meere.

When wool is processed to a Loden, it becomes waterproof and at the same time remains highly breathable. Furthermore, our wool insulation is extremely light, weighing 60 grams and keeps you warm even when wet – no matter if it’s our DUUN jacket or Vest. Out of these reasons we make use of wool in many of our products. We use Merino wool from New Zealand and Australia as well as virgin wool from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. We guarantee Mulesing free animal treatment and a natural breeding and farming of the sheep, mainly in higher mountain regions. However, if you are looking for materials which are waterproof, windproof, highly elastic or light-weight then synthetic materials are required. Here, too, we are as environmentally friendly as possible. Most materials are made out of recycled materials in an environmentally friendly manner- most according to Bluesign®-Standard. Our recycled ECONYL® nylon yarn, which is made from old fishing nets and textile waste 100% in Europe is here a great example. We want to contribute keeping our environment and oceans clean.

Keines unserer Produkte soll zum Nachteil der Menschen werden, die Triple2 ausmachen und tragen. Egal ob beim Färbeprozess der Stoffe in Italien oder dem Logistiker in München. Wir setzen uns für faire Bezahlung und faire Arbeitsbedingungen ein – egal an welcher Stelle. Weil uns kurze Wege und faire Arbeitsbedingungen wichtig sind, produzieren wir ausschließlich in Europa – hauptsächlich in Kroatien.

Triple2 is unique – for us it is not enough to solely use sustainable materials. For this reason, we rely as much as possible on renewable and recycled materials from Europe. Sustainability and fairness is not a trend, but a must. We commit ourselves to fair wages and working conditions. Because short distances and fair working conditions are important to us, we produce exclusively in Croatia.

Bekleidung ist Handarbeit – zu 100%. Jedes Teil, das wir am Körper tragen, ging durch zahlreiche Hände, bis es fertig verpackt unsere Shops erreicht. Dabei ist es unerheblich, ob ein einfaches T-Shirt genäht wird, für das etwa 20 Arbeitsschritte benötigt werden, oder eine Regenjacke, bei der es schon 120 Arbeitsschritte sind. Die Qualität hängt immer von der Erfahrung, dem Know-How und der Motivation der Mitarbeiter ab. Wir arbeiten schon seit Jahren mit einer kleinen Produktion im Norden Kroatiens zusammen – etwa fünf Autostunden von München entfernt. Unser Team ist mit modernstem Equipment ausgerüstet und scheut keine noch so schwere Aufgabe – egal ob es um kniffelige Verarbeitungen geht oder das Upcycling-Programm für unsere Taschen-Kollektion.

Making clothes is a real handcraft – to 100%. Every part we wear on our body has passed through numerous hands until it reaches our stores, finally packed. Having to go through 20 working steps for a T-shirt, or 120 working steps to sew a raincoat is not the challenge. The challenge is to reach high quality. This depends on the experience, the know-how and the motivation of the employees. We have been working for many years with a small production in the north of Croatia – about five hours away from Munich. Our team is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and no task can be challenging enough for them.
