Introduction
he 2013 Graduate Exit Survey is produced annually to give a picture of the graduating class and highlight the increased importance of an internship experience outside of the classroom during the fall, spring or summer semesters. This experience allows students exposure to various industries, career paths, and professionals while gaining significant career-related skills through an internship/job, volunteer position, study abroad, or research experience. The survey shows the number of graduates who are 1) seeking jobs, 2) employed at graduation or within 90 days of graduation, and if that job is within their major, and 3) continuing their education. The survey also shows how many graduates completed internships, how many were offered a position because of their internship, and how many accepted the offer. There is also a salary survey and a Career Center usage survey.
