The National Journalism Center combines 12 weeks of on-the-job training at a Washington, D.C.-based media outlet with once-weekly training seminars led by prominent journalists, policy experts, and NJC faculty. One day a week is spent at NJC seminar, where interns learn the rudiments of journalism and gain a better understanding of media, society, and public policy, and the intersection between the three here in Washington, D.C. Internships are available in the fall, spring, and summer, and awardees receive $1,000 per month scholarship for the duration of their internship. POSITION TYPES Internships: Journalism
