Only the Mouse doesn t Vote for Barsik!

This young cat is leading the polls for the municipal elections of a Siberian city of 650.000 inhabitants named Barnaoul with 91% of the intentions of vote. 5500 persons participated to the survey. The popularity of this cat is mostly due to the fed up feeling of the inhabitants of this city. This cat legally can’t participate to the elections, but a crowd-funding campaign was launched to allow the cat to have his own elections posters. The people also wish that Barsik, with the help of a translator, will agree and find solutions with Vladimir Poutine on the subject of the local problems of Barnaoul. Hand in hand, they could solve a lot of problem in Russia and in the rest of the world. Is the next step to a cat domination ? by Dorian and Ismael

On the night of December 20th, 2015, the election of Miss Universe took place without any problems until the proclamation of the winner who was first announced as Miss Colombia. This is what we believed (and so did she ) for 5 minutes! The famous actor and the humorist Steve Harvey who had been asked to present the broadcast directly from Los Angeles made the biggest blunder ever in the television history by announcing the wrong winner! It wasn t not Adriana Gutierrez, Miss Colombia but Pia Wurtzbach. So Miss Philippine is the real winner! Miss Colombia still under the shock and stunned by this false hophead to take off her crown, her scarf in front of the entire world. A blunder which is expensive because the election of Miss Universe is one of the most important competitions followed by a great many people all over the world. Although it is only a competition that is meant to elect the most beautiful woman of the universe, it nevertheless remains important for these Barbie dolls. Steve Harvey apologized immediately before announcing the real winner after long minutes of expectation !

David Bowie: The Man Who Changed the Music World The famous rock musician, David Bowie died a few days ago after turning 69. Bowie died of a cancer on Sunday 10th of January 2016, two days after his last album entitled Blackstar was released. Bowie was born David Jones in January 1947 but lately reinvented himself as David Bowie, in order to avoid confusion with the Monkees’ Davy Jones. At the age of 15, David formed his first band, the Konrads, a rock’n’roll combo that contained a various number of members, including Underwood. He quickly became

disillusioned with his band’s lack of ambition and quit to form a new one, the blues-influenced King Bees. As the years went by, he went on to study Buddhism and mime, and released his first album, The World of David Bowie, in 1967. The latter followed up this initial success with The Man Who Sold the World, a complex album, whose title track has been covered by artists as diverse as Lulu and Nirvana. He defied any label and was particularly known for his originality and outstanding talent; he was also a producer, painter, film actor, art critic

and above all, the progenitor of bisexual chic. The legendary artist will surely be missed by his fans all over the world. Many of his songs such as "Space Oddity," "Changes," "Fame," "Heroes," "Let's Dance" and "Where Are We Now?" will remain the biggest hits ever made. By Thusika , Natacha and Marina

Egypt

Debris of Metrojet Flight 7K9268 on the ground in Sinai, Egypt, October 31st, 2015.

A

n Airbus plane A321 crashed

on Saturday morning, October 31st , in the desert of the Sinai, in Egypt. It was a Russian airliner connecting Charm-el-Sheikh to Saint-Petersburg. The authorities deplore the death of the 224 passengers on board. The plane was not flying over a particularly dangerous zone, a zone with turbulence and was far too high to be shot down by surface-to-air missiles or any military equipment. A question remains without answers: how did this plane crash? Was there a failure in the system of command? Is it bound to the pilots and to their psychological profile? French and American investigators were sent in Egypt to bring their helps to their Egyptian counterparts. This disaster also has important consequences on the diplomatic relations between the Russian and Egyptian governments; Russia demands urgent answers as for the exact causes of the accident.

On the Web, ISIS has already claimed the attack and asserts being the cause of the death of these 224 passengers. However, the experts are skeptical. How could they possibly manage to get explosives on board the plane given the drastic compulsory safety measures the passengers have been subjected to since the

attacks of September 11th, 2001 causing the death of more than 3000 people? There are many mysteries concerning this case but some answers should soon be provided, it is only a matter of days by Adem & Qasem,

But the reason they manage to find organic products in any supermarket is simply because most organic trademarks are bought up by huge foodprocessing multinationals. Indeed, in the case of France, if you buy any product from organic trademarks such as Bonneterre, Bjorg, Evernat, Allos or France Alter Eco, you are actually supporting the economic growth of Royal 9

Wessanen, the Dutch milliondollar food company which controls organic nutrition in Europe and whose yearly revenue is more than 700 million dollars. Royal Wessanen is one of many companies to apply such policies : indeed, Nestlé, Cargill, Coca-Cola all have significant shares in the organic market. Moreover, in the world 95 % of organic vegetables are produced from seeds of the hybrid variety F1, which means that a random customer has a 50 % chance of buying for example an organic melon from Monsanto, Bayer or Syngenta, since these three predominant chemical companies possess half of the 250 varieties of melon listed in the international GNIF catalogue. This means that many small organic market gardeners are accomplices to the rapid destruction of nutritionary biodiversity ! Only a few weeks after the 10 COP21, this comes as a hard-

blow to organic farming and more generally the fight for environmentalism in France. While taking down Bonneterre, it also seriously discredits the whole of the organic movement, and diminishes the importance of immediate action in the minds of the public, when the situation is actually more precarious than ever. Indeed, pesticides are still a lethal threat to our ecosystem : over 65.000 tons of pesticides are used annually in every country, which amounts to 1.9 kilos of pesticides scattered on our food each second. The popular development of organic farms all over the world is not enough to eradicate the damages we are causing our planet: a single gramme of pesticide is enough to

pollute a small river over ten kilometers ! Therefore it is obvious that organic farming is currently more vital than ever. However, some serious changes have to be made to achieve a real system of environmentallyfriendly farming, without the organic market being in the pockets of multimillionaire multinationals who are currently assassinating product-diversity. We need to stop thinking that bright-coloured, straight and perfectly trimmed vegetables are normal and healthy, once and for all. This recent event proves that we still have a long way to go. *Survey conducted by WorldWide Fund (WWF) in 2012.

It is a French-based company with an international reputation which has carried out thousands of trials since it was set up in 1989. However only ninety people received different doses of the drug. It's not the schools' fault that kids are doing drugs, but that's where is access, This is a cultural problem. They think it's all right. Teenagers are concrete and decriminalizing marijuana makes them think it's legal Research shows that more young people smoke marijuana than cigarettes. When marijuana was decriminalized for medical use, she's had young clients come shocked they'd been arrested. Preventative measures are taken in schools and teenagers are introduced to the danger of drugs, the aim is to make them understand it’s not cool and they shouldn’t see it as a trend.
