T
he Maui Sails crew continued on its mission this month, powering away at the goal of getting the new sails out and on the water.
TR-1 success.
T
he TR- 1's made it around the world and had enormous success right out of the blocks. In Holland, Dennis Littel jumped on the new Maui Sails TR-1 and went straight to the front of the pack blowing away all his competition. From there, the news came in from Bulgaria, telling us that the MauiSails 'team' guys came 1st and 2nd on the new TR-1 in their first National Race. Sails arrived in Japan and the word was, they are fast. Pretty exciting to hear this come across the wire.

Taty Dogg.
T
aty Frans was at home getting ready for the King of the Caribbean in Bonaire. Taty Dogg was looking like one of the favorites going into the comp with his huge bag of tricks and flawless style. Taty was using the new Global's and giving them a good testing in real world conditions. Taty had this to say about his new sails. “Yah I am stoked on the new Global's. MauiSails took the things I liked from my old freestyle sails and combined it with what I like from my wave sails and put it into a package that I love. Thanks for getting me the goods once again!”
P
hil McGain has just finished up with his first event of the season in Corpus Chrisit Texas where he finished in second on the new Maui Sails TR-1’s. Phil has also been testing all of the sails that are heading for production as well as the all new Maui Sails booms and masts that will be launched shortly. "The event went well for me, using the 11.5 and 10.5 for most races, I felt super comfortable on the sails and it looks like MauiSails is going to take off in the US"
