exhibition PROPOSAL Contemporary dance is a movement that came to break with the classical style. Over the history of Dancing there have been a numerous quantity of dancers that have marked dancing into new movements. And during the 20th century, there were a few characters that innovated the world of dance. 4 different minds that nowadays are the inspiration for every single young dancer. The exhibition will show some of the work of Pina Bausch, Martha Graham and Rudolf Von Laban , in different ways, as projection of different pieces of their creations, photography sessions and even some pieces will be performed in the space to make the audience understand the way of how this 3 icons of the dance continue to be inspiration for the new talents, and also to make them understand how Contemporary dancing is not always the same style as everyone think, but is just a unique and creative way of understanding and exploring movement and space. Bringing a recreation of one the sets from the most famous choreography of Pina Bausch, “Cafe Muller. A bit of the costumes and installations that Martha Graham used to use for her pieces, and the famous Icosahedra of the architect and dancer Laban. More pieces from these talented choreographers are put together into this exhibition to express a new movement that flowed during the XX century in the world of the dance.

03 ESSENDON CO-HOUSE
PROPOSAL This project respond to the idea of designing a home, basically made with shipping containers as part of a brief, that could be suitable for 4 members of a family that share the passion for cooking and spending some time doing outdoors exploration. Without ignoring their safety, privacy and comfort. By generating those spaces where each member could have their own privacy, and of course those ones where they could be able to share some quality time together.

04 UDLAP’S LIBRARY
The new design proposal for UDLAP’s library was created with the purpose of breaking the style that the whole university has been maintaining since the university opened its doors. Keeping the essence of the materiality of the campus, was one of the main things we did. In this case, using this Mexican material called “Talavera”, we tried to break the pattern of the shapes that this typical mosaic of the state has, to create a pattern that was going to be reflected in the shape of the building’s volume. In addition, this pattern was going to be used to create an element from the exterior that was going to have this shapes perforated over the Steel. Provoking an interesting game of lights and shadows coming into the library.
05 NICHO
CONCEPT Nicho, is a new collaborative proposal of creating an inspiring/dynamic/interactive workshop space that allows people from different areas of study, to work in a harmonious, and collaborative environment that permits the interconnection of different intellectual and creative ideas. The purpose of this project is having this inspirational space where people from different working disciplines could come to work and could experiment a good atmosphere, product of a spatial design where recyclable materials and the adaptability of the space, all together generate a perfect collaborative workshop. Encouraging people to come to Nicho, a cozy collaborative space

[ THESIS PROJECT ]
// PROJECT The project emerged as a solution for 3 different issues that Mexico’s city has had for years. The first social problem was about how children and teenagers are following wrong steps in their lives, falling into juvenile delinquency. The second environmental issue was related with the enormous amount of abandoned buildings that are located in important roadways all over the city, having as a consequence the growing of the city to the periphery. And the third economical trouble, its about how the government spend money on developing cultural and artistically infrastructure that doesn’t count with the proper installations that the specific users need

SITE A
The intersection of these 3 problems brought as a solution the creation of an Artistic Finding Centre, where teenagers and children could spend time learning from the different artistic disciplines, in a building that could have proper spaces per their needs. By recycling abandoned buildings that were located nearby each other, the project basically raised as an Artistic Urban Campus Proposal

// VOLUMETRIC PROCESS The natural light all over the city, and the surrounding building’s heights, were the key facts that affected the volume of both sites in first place. Plus the creation of little models that responded to the context itself, it was what brought us to the final volume proposed.

CONCEPTO El movimiento en el cuerpo humano siempre viene basado en una f o r m a g e o m é t r i c a , q u e s i e m p r e t e r m i n a s i e n d o i r r e g u l a r o r e g u l a r. Existe una relación la cual, se pueden sacar patrones de movimiento en este tipo de casos. La dinámica del edifcio corresponde a la misma dinámica corporal .

ACCESS FROM INSURGENTES AVENUE TIPOLOGÍAS
The movement of the body was the first design concept I tried to explore as way of finding how dancing could interfere with my architectural proposal. Basically, I started to explore the body of a dancer and how they generate different movements to create a choreographic master piece. This is what I was looking, I wanted to bring a masterpiece into my faรงade design. So I asked to a contemporary dancer if he could create a choreography in a photo session, and with the different movements he created with his body, I started to deconstruct it into silhouettes, and then into patterns based on straight lines. And when all this came into just lines, I placed it on the different faces of the building. The result was the creation of a dynamic faรงade based on the movement of a dancer, that every single person who walk or drive around the area could enjoy and admire. And that this could also help the building create a unique personality of the suburb.

// CONCLUSIÓN
