Trinity Buoy Wharf

Trinity Buoy Wharf brief • When Trinity Buoy Wharf was abandoned in 1998, it was a desolate site. There are now studios and workspaces for people in the creative industries, education classrooms and spaces for arts events as well as spaces for conferences and product launch events. • Heritage structures made from bricks were designed, built, and maintained for the safety of Britain's coastal waters by Trinity House, which came up with the navigation equipment, buoys, lighthouses, and lightships to help keep Britain's coasts safe.

• Recently, shipping containers were used as the basis for the construction of buildings used for the new creative industries. • A 125 year lease was granted to the Trinity Buoy Wharf Trust in 1998 by the then owners City of London Docklands Development Corporation (LDDC), while the freehold was transferred to the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

The 4 parks

Themes Barrier Park There are numerous picnic and children's play areas, as well as a basketball court, visitor pavilion, and coffee shop with views of the Thames Barrier.

In the Thames riverbanks, the park is situated on land that was once occupied by petrochemical and acid works.

In order to protect newly laid soil, 6 feet of crushed concrete was placed over the contaminated soil.

The gates were inspired by the shape of gas taps.

The high line NYC The High Line is an elevated linear park created on a former NY Central Railroad spur on the west side of Manhattan in New York City. It consists of a rail trail, a greenway and a park. With a large fiberglass sculpture in the form of a drone mounted to a 25-foot-tall steel pole, High Line Art continues its mission to presentcompelling, thought-provoking artwork that stimulates and amplifiesessential conversations of the day.

Millennium park Millennium Park, which was built on top of a railroad yard and massive parking garages, is regarded one of the world's largest green roofs.

Given the existing limitations on the height of buildings in Grant Park, the pavilion's erection sparked a legal battle.

To get around these legal limits, the bandshell is classified as a piece of art rather than a structure by the city.

The pavilion includes 4,000 fixed seats and 7,000 extra lawn seats; the stage is framed by Gehry's signature curving stainless steel plates.

Gardens by the bay

Following the completion of the 54-hectare £500 million Bay South Garden by a world-class British design team led by Bath-based landscape architects, Grant Associates, the first phase of Singapore's stunning Gardens by the Bay project opened to the public on June 29, 2012. The masterplan is inspired by the orchid, Singapore's national flower, and depicts the beauty of orchid flowers through exotic gardens, as well as the orchid's physiology through complex energy, water, and waste management infrastructure

In my opinion it looks like trees more One of the most fascinating Gardens by the Bay facts is that it has over 7,00,000 natural plants on display, including 2000 exotic kinds

Underground chilled water pipes are used to save energy and money inside the domes.

The light house

The renowned Experimental Lighthouse, completed in 1864, is located at Trinity Buoy Wharf and is London's only remaining specimen. The Trinity House network of lighthouses, lightships, and buoys used the Lighthouse to test and develop lighting technology for its network of lighthouses, lightships, and buoys. It was where the physicist Michael Faraday did his optical studies, as well as a major resource for lighthouse operator training.

Constructed: 1863. Construction: brick tower. Shape: octagonal tower with balcony and lantern attached to 1-storey depot building. Markings: unpainted tower, black lantern. Operator: Trinity Buoy Wharf.

The Trinity House network of lighthouses, lightships, and buoys used the Lighthouse to experiment with and develop lighting equipment for their network of lighthouses, lightships, and buoys.

It was the site of scientist Michael Faraday's optical studies, as well as a major resource for lighthouse operator training.
