TOWN HALL MEETINGS
Alok Joshi visits Asia Pacific
In September, Alok Joshi, Executive Managing Director of DBU International Business, visited the Asia Pacific region.
Accompanied by Peter Jensen-Muir, Executive Managing Director for Asia Pacific, the leaders held town hall meetings at facilities to engage with employees and share Cummins’ latest activities and vision. Alok and Peter also introduced themselves to new and existing staff and gave an overview of their roles and experience through the years. The session opened with news of Jennifer Rumsey’s appointment as the new CEO and more in-depth information on how it will change the company moving forward. Afterwards, Joshi spoke about the acquisition of Meritor and gave business updates for Q2 before passing on to Mike Fowler to present about Destination Zero.
At the town hall at Scoresby (Melbourne) on 15 September, Alok and Peter touched on the introduction of Cummins Cafes announced by Jennifer that same morning. Since then, sessions have rolled out across the region’s locations by different leaders.
Alok and Peter also held town halls at the Singapore, Perth (Western Australia) and Carole Park (Queensland) facilities.
