Some of the most crucial scenes in Ramayana, an epic that narrates the life story and adventures of Lord Ram, take place in Chhattisgarh. It is to underpin this legacy of Lord Ram that the Chhattisgarh Government has come up with the idea of developing the Ram Van Gaman Tourism Circuit.

The state government started the Godhan Nyay Yojana on the occasion of Chattisgarh’s important festival ‘Hareli’ with an aim to prepare Vermicompost and other products from Coe dung collected in Gauthans.

Multi-dimensional Development

The brainchild of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, an initiative was taken to provide free medical facilities to poor families living in slums. Under the Chief Minister Urban Slum Health Scheme, a total of 41,57,878 people have been treated so far by medical teams in mobile medical units, which cater to slum communities.

An incentive of Rs 10,000 per acre will be provided to farmers for planting non-timber, fruit trees, bamboo, minor forest produce and medicinal plants in nonforest areas instead of paddy.

The Chief Minister Mitan Yojana is a scheme under which home delivery of government services will be provided to residents. It includes getting documents like Birth certificate, marriage certificates and Pan cards and other documents at their doorstep.
