memory and mortality take us, hand in hand along the path to the place of Forever, a word and an idea that has many meanings, used casually in tossed off expressions. at its core, it means how we ponder eternity; our moving through time and physical reality, where we all eventually reach the place where memories guide us through the final passage. it is said that regularly imagining the most beautiful moment and places helps us with our transition. these photographs present an opportunity to open oneself to what lies within an image: the photograph as metaphor, like a book of poems or an album of songs, there is a conduit to our feelings that creative works help one explore. there is no particular time line or traditional narrative here in the return to Forever.
the photographs are guides or markers to another place, a very personal place of how we accept our earthly existence, memories, mortality and our passage to the approaching moment of eternity. — Owen Murphy
