Thesis Statement 1960年代,臺北市為了因應戰後嬰兒潮與鄉村人口轉移都市所帶來的人口膨脹,大量的興建了五層樓的無電梯公寓, 樣的居住單元,也確實的承載著臺北一半以上的居住人口,一直到現在。將近四十年後的今天, 批當年量產的居住
單元產生了修繕,更新的需求。為了促進更新,政府利用容積獎勵當做誘因,鼓勵建商進行都市更新,也因為 至上的邏輯,臺北面臨了一系列因都更而生的都市問題。

就是我們第一個面臨的項目,有了基礎建設的架構,都市可以根據架構自發而生,試問如果我們以基礎建設建構都市, 那更新都市的時候,有沒有一種先規劃都更基礎建設,在引發都更行為的一種提案 ?
臺北市與新北市,由淡水河做為分界,又藉由無數多的橋把兩邊連起來,中正橋,除了跟其他的橋一樣扮演著連接的角 色外,其實還有一個很特別的地方,就是在臺北市的
,然後一路
岸,很深入的延伸進台北市,從跟和平西路的交差口便開始架高

According to our statistics, if we take every single qualified district in Taipei for urban renewal, we can increase the population capacity by 210,000 without changing any infrastructure. That is close the population of a district. The calculation of floor area ration preference is no longer population capacity, it is investment value. To promote urban renewal, the government used floor area ration preference as an incentive for contractors. However, the money incentive nature in this urban renewal policy also caused a series of urban problem.
