OXYLUS an Urban Oasis
Hospitality | health & wellness DTLA , CA | 2021 Curated specifically for the urban dweller, this health & wellness spa located in the heart of DTLA is a place of solace for city based inhabitants to utilize in varying time increments within their hectic schedules. Users rejuvenate & refresh through spaces of psychotherapy and physiotherapy with fluid circulation in the form of a labyrinth, a unicursal design that optimizes mental clarity and stress relieving effects. OXYLUS is a space for urban dwellers to unwind, decompress, and reset throughout life’s tumultuous happenings.

Chrysalis is a transitional state of being achieving mental and physical wellness. In nature it is the metamorphic state from caterpillar to butterfly. While the static cocoon may seem like it’s in a resting state, the inner workings remain wildly dynamic. We invite you to experience this transformation. 12

FLUX Workspace
Commercial | workplace Los Angeles, CA | 2020 FLUX blurs the line between the X and Y axis through it’s continuous Rise & Hang modules. A Rise on one floor becomes a Hang on another as these occurrences weave through multiple dimensions in unison. These modules help create a unified dynamic co-working experience.

DUNE RESIDENCE
Residential | single-family Malibu, CA | 2020 Floor to ceiling windows frame this Malibu master bath with picturesque ocean views giving the space plenty of natural light and scenic stature. Visualize in 3D

Keeping it light and airy majority of the space is a warm beige terrazzo with accents of natural oak panels and a cream tiled focal wall. The ceiling and door frames are an ash oak which prelude this space through to the closet and hallway.
This master bath is centered around arched mirrors creating alternative windows within the space and accentuating the focal wall’s concrete vessel sinks. Hardware and fixtures are aged antique brass adding character and further highlighting the sinks.

Residential | single-family Orange County, CA | 2020 Earthy tones and brushed brass hardware elevate this functional and inviting mudroom. A concealed washer and dryer unit hide behind faux drawer doors. A dog shower was a must for this pup friendly household. An arched reading nook compliments the arched windows throughout the house and invites inhabitants to stay for cozy day hang-out. Visualize in 3D.

CHASE RESIDENCE
Residential | single-family Venice, CA | 2020 Charcoal cabinetry, a waterfall island, and marble hood make a statement in this sleek and modern Venice home. We opted to keep the guest powder room lighter, but still kept blackened aluminum hardware to contrast. Visualize in 3D.

With plenty of counter and cabinet space, open shelving is integrated for a full coffee bar & drink station for this coffee enthused resident.
Just past the drink bar lies a double door butler’s pantry with plenty of storage and full wrap around galley.

Kith & Kin Hospitality | boutique hostel Cincinnati, OH | 2020 Kith & Kin is a social hub that cultivates human interaction and stimulates conversational exchanges between the local community and traveler through weaving and the act of making. Kith and Kin’s collaborative environment creates expressions of dialogical art through the synthesis of a creator’s journey from day to night.

The Hub: Synthesis Synthesis is Kith & Kin’s physical nervous system, a system of pneumatic tubes that transport capsules of supplies, food throughout the building. 26

MAKE Studios Kith & Kin’s communal hostel layout is optimal for creators looking to connect with locals or travelers passing through. Studios are located on floors 3 and 4 can be rented for a night’s stay or a creative day space. Each room is equipped with a Murphy bed and a customizable peg + board system for variations of weaving. 27

Hospitality | fine dining Columbus, OH | 2017 Featured on Rethinking The Future (RTF) Chef Nancy Silverton & baker Miche Bacher team together to create unique hand crafted creations inspired by the Mediterranean sea. Céleste is for the diner who isn’t afraid of adventure and falling down the rabbit hole. Layered patterned plates reveal each course’s new canvas for tapas styled dining.
Far right: The Sun Room boasts custom brass caged booths with varying light reflections shifting the atmospheric dining experience.

Main Dining Room Back lit blue onyx walls highlight the main dining room. Custom pergola swings sit in the middle beckoning future diners to reserve the coveted spot. 30
The Bar/Lounge Hanging brass pendant lights separate the bar and lounge adding to the reflectivity and opulence the bar projects. 31
DEEP NATURE COSMETICS
Flagship Retail | design competition Paris, France | 2017 Concept + Rendering Award Deep Nature is an international spa and wellness company focused on mineral composition and theenatural benefits from the organic source. The concept for this flagship store was inspired by a geode, raw on the exterior, but refined on the interior.

An interactive touch screen within the store allows users to see the ingredients within their products and know their true benefits. This same UX design can be integrated into an App.

Floor Plan
Entry A glowing geode ribbon wall illuminates the space and immediately captures shoppers’ attention before entering the space. Day or night, this unique feature draws in those passing by. 34
Simple raw materials compose the space, keeping it consistent with the brand’s color scheme and packaging.
The Mixing Bar Test out and feel the products before purchasing. This hands on experience allows users to make their own creation and adjust the consistency before buying. 35
BOLL & BRANCH
MKG experiential design Short Hills, NJ | 2017 Featured in Architectural Digest Ethical bedding company Boll & Branch, launched their first brick and mortar pop-up shop so customers could feel the quality and softness of their cotton sheets. We created an immersive store with vignettes of lifestyle intertwined throughout the space and custom signage for new brand launches.

We re-purposed existing retail fixtures to have adjustable shelving to create lifestyle vingettes. Custom changeable canvas cloth signage to mimic hanging sheets were present throughout the space.

To keep the store versatile and flexible, the iPad and consultation bar (right image) has a removable wooden top revealing a cash wrap with power for a seamless formal checkout counter. ‘Frozen’ Land and Arendelle for Disneyland Paris, FR.

Our team worked on the design for the E-ticket attraction, restaurant and shops for Arendelle Frozen for Disneyland Paris. We also created custom graphics and textiles.
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is a luxury hotel set within the Star Wars universe. The ‘aircraft’ hosts guests in a unique 2 night immersive experience. Coming to Orlando, FL 2022.
