01 Introduction Our Company needs to manage how its brand is represented across all visual media in various different situations. The corporate identity system in this document has been created to fulfil this purpose and the guidelines herein explain how to correctly depict and embody our brand consistently across different applications and in various markets to maintain the integrity of Our Company.

Shalex – Who we are? Within a time period spanning less than 5 years, Shalex has become one of the largest manufacturer, stockholder and distributor of aluminium and other semi-finished non-ferrous products located in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Shalex’s manufacturing footprint includes one of the largest extrusion facilities in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia located at its manufacturing and operations facility in the Third Industrial City, Dammam. In addition, extrusion manufacturing facilities are also located in Dammam Second Industrial City, all supplying world class products at short lead times. A strategic regional network of mill direct account managers and distribution center’s supply solutions and immediate stock availability to a wide range of industries and market sectors, Shalex understands the Middle Eastern market and its environmental conditions and this has made it one of the Region’s leading manufacturer and distributor of aluminium extrusions.

Shalex maintains a significant investment in research and development with a committed team of professionals in its Technology Solutions Group who use ISO accredited testing facilities to support the design and development of sustainable, energy efficient residential and commercial glazing systems. Shalex is committed to minimizing the environmental impacts of its activities by examining its operations to identify environmentally responsible improvement opportunities; by reducing adverse consequences of new plant, equipment and processes; by managing waste materials using the hierarchy of reduce/reuse/recycle; and by ensuring that any necessary disposals are managed to appropriate environmental standards.

Logo Implementation Area around the logo shows how close to the edge of printed medium logo can be placed. Empty area around the logo cannot be distributed by any elements in any case. On all sides, the exclusion zone should be measured from the farthest edge of the logo. No element, other than our tagline, may encroach on this space.

Use of color for printed and digital logo The following palette has been selected for use in SHALEX communcations. Lighter tints and dark shades of these colors are also allowed., but the Logotype + background may only be used with a 100% tint.The primary color include a light blue, that embodies the creativity and dynamic of the company. Secondary color is dark blue to underline the seriousity of our business. A comprehensive color palette has been developed to provide flexibility while creating a unified, recognizable appearance across all communications.
