Hi, I’m Mohammad Zahidi, a young artist who enjoys to simply draw. My art style is in constant exploration, working between the dual natures of realism, expressionism and impressionism.

Ultimately, it is my hope that my drawings serves as a sanctuary for the soul—a place of refuge amidst the chaos of the world, where one can find solace in the beauty of the present moment. Through intricate layers and subtle nuances, whispers of gentle reminder to pause, to breathe, and to immerse oneself in the serenity of creation.

This series began in an accidental exploration of mark-making nature’s essence and its intricate beauty of dried flora. Capturing the delicate remnants of plants, flowers, and foliage, revealing a subtle yet profound narrative of time, impermanence, and the relentless cycle of nature’s existence.

What I enjoy most when creating these pieces is its attention to detail, depth of the strokes, overlaying of patterns; each stroke with it a whisper of intention, as I seek to capture not just the physical form, but the essence of tranquillity itself.

The depth of the strokes becomes a language of its own, revealing hidden narratives and emotions that resonate with the viewer on a profound level. It’s as if each layer holds a secret, inviting the observer to embark on a journey of discovery within the confines of the paper.

My proficiency extends beyond traditional architectural skills to the realm of digital expression, where I’ve explored colour variation on illustrator.
