The evolution of the retail sector over a decade, i.e. last ten years, from 2012 to 2022, has been amazing. A huge involvement & credit goes to social media & online shopping. An environment that has helped boost sales in the retail industry. In the middle of this decade was the pandemic that started in 2019 and lasted almost two years, i.e. 2021. This period saw a huge increase in online sales & companies like E-bay & Amazon earned plenty due to the increased dependencies of the retail industry on online shopping.

It's interesting that technology's contribution has increased significantly in the last decade. This owes significantly to payment technology, i.e. online payments, online shopping, e-commerce involvements, features like Apple Pay, online retail strategies, online tracking of deliveries & finally, the key involvements of social media, which includes Facebook. The consumer habits & expectations that shape the industry and the new & more enhanced CRM systems. Finally, the way consumers approach shopping is a distinctive contrast to how they did over last decade.

Since the last decade, i.e. the last ten years, consumer empowerment has increased. Human Resources Responsibilities

As a resort manager, you'll be in charge of hiring, training, and scheduling new staff members. You'll set goals for employees and help your staff achieve these goals.
