THE PERSPECTIVE OF CANADIANS VERSUS THE ENTREPRENEURS –WHAT DO THEY THINK?

The Canadians have a diversified perspective on entrepreneurs & we are mostly talking about Canadian entrepreneurs. What they think matters, especially in the hard times, i.e., the pandemic when many entrepreneurs were forced to halt their businesses. They were found to be suffering due to the amount of losses the Canadian entrepreneurs faced.

Most Canadians have a perspective favouring entrepreneurs as they think they are brave, courageous & hardworking. Is this true? Well, to a large extent, that’s indeed a fact that Canadian entrepreneurs are brave & hardworking & proved to be courageous during COVID-19.

According to survey results, Canadians have a very optimistic view of business owners. 78% of the respondents had a positive opinion of the entrepreneurs. However, 13% to 14% remained neutral & their neutrality depended upon the successes and failures of the entrepreneur.

WHY ARE THEY BRAVE, HARDWORKING & COURAGEOUS?

People have an opinion about Canadian entrepreneurs. Canadians believe they are brave, hardworking & courageous. People have found them to be brave in decision-making.

Secondly, entrepreneurs are found to be hard-working & this fact is evident from the passionate approach that Canadian entrepreneurs have shown in their various roles while working as entrepreneurs in Canada.

Lastly, they are courageous, especially during the pandemic, with regard to the safety of their customers and risk-taking abilities. Canadian entrepreneurs are bold risk takers & their risk-taking is worthwhile, especially in decision-making. A huge percentage, i.e., almost 88%, believes entrepreneurs are passionate about their work. This fact makes them

ENTREPRENEURS ARE JOB CREATORS & GENERATE WEALTH:

82% of the respondents believe entrepreneurs are job creators and generate wealth for the people. People are optimistic that the growth of the people working under the entrepreneurs is highly dependent on the growth of the entrepreneurs & their businesses. This is subject to change with time; however, it depends on many other factors that can be considered external factors.

CANADA IS A LAND OF OPPORTUNITY FOR NEW BUSINESS VENTURES:

73.5% of the respondents believe Canada is a land of opportunity for new business ventures. This is in terms of the ROI or the Return on Investment for new Canadian entrepreneurs who might be new to Canada while starting their business. However, with time they become Canadian entrepreneurs, all the while becoming Canadian citizens. The new entrepreneur might think their initial investment should be nominal because their risk is higher. However, they might be wrong. According to the respondents, the trust factor in new entrepreneurs from a different country is quite large.

Canada is surely a land of opportunity that comprises ten provinces & three territories, and all of them have potential investment opportunities. Obviously, in some cities more than others, the chance of success is greater dependent upon the weather conditions. Any new immigrant may be reluctant to settle in the territories where the weather is extremely cold in winter and not very suitable for people coming from overseas.

THE CANADIAN CULTURE PROMOTES ENTREPRENEURSHIP:

that Canadian culture promotes entrepreneurship. Canadians love their life, living in homes that are large & driving expensive vehicles while standing up to the reputation of Canada being a land of the rich. Therefore, it’s the rich lifestyle of Canadians that automatically promotes entrepreneurship & immediate entrepreneurial success.

Ironically, entrepreneurship is part of the Canadian lifestyle & their attitude to compete. It also relates heavily to their passion for earning money, as 88% of the respondents believe entrepreneurs are passionate about their work.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP DOESN’T COME WITHOUT CHALLENGES:

Entrepreneurship doesn’t come without its challenges & this is a universal fact in the world of entrepreneurship all over the globe. It’s not about Canada, the United States or Italy, as all three have wonderful success stories when it comes to entrepreneurship, but it doesn’t come without challenges.

All entrepreneurs face challenges in the initial phase of their entrepreneurial careers. It’s in the initial stages that they need to remain strong for the sake of future success. Entrepreneurs also have to create an example of hard work and passion to achieve their entrepreneurial goals.

According to many Canadians, financial security, stress and long working hours are disadvantages of being an entrepreneur. However, people believe that being your own boss is something that Canadian entrepreneurs love throughout their journey.
