DISSERTATION (To be submitted ) Social History of Rayalaseema.
Rayalaseema is a geographic region in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. It includes the districts of Anantapur, Chittoor,Kurnool, Kadapa , parts ofPrakasam and Nellore districts. Bellary ,Tumkur& Kolar districts of the present day Karnataka were part of Rayalaseema until the states were reorganized. Rayalaseema, a drought prone area & most backward region in India . Due to fued politicians the economic development & standard of the living of the people of this region is not up to the mark. Majority people are deprived of Human Rights.The soil of Rayalaseema is having rich heritage & culture.Casteism is playing predominent role in villages.Though there are several resources,the growth of economy is very less.Achievement of sustainable development is the big task.
