Joyous Time We believe that the middle school years should be a joyous time, combined with new experiences, hard work and fun. Our students genuinely enjoy coming to school! Visitors notice and often comment on the energy, enthusiasm and sense of community evident in the classrooms, hallways and playing fields.
Dedicated Faculty Our faculty members are dedicated to teaching a specific grade and have a deep understanding of adolescent development. All middle school teachers are either coaches or club sponsors. Working together, our teachers have developed a comprehensive program that addresses the intellectual, social and emotional needs of our students.

Highlights The Middle School— provides 160 students in grades 6-8 with an exceptional academic foundation in a warm, supportive environment. • Our Writing Center— staffed with teachers and 12th grade students, gives students support and feedback throughout the writing process. Caring Community The Middle School is a caring community. Our teachers understand that building strong relationships is the key to creating a school environment centered on the individual student. Teachers challenge, mentor, and motivate, but above all…care for their students.
• The Arts Program— offers students courses in visual, digital and performing arts, and utilizes an outstanding facility that includes a 630-seat professionally equipped theater. • The Learning Center— is fully staffed with trained professionals who help students with varying levels of ability to perform at their best. • Focus On Writing— courses strengthen students’ writing ability across the curriculum. “Writing to Learn” activities complement coursework in geography, mathematics, science, foreign languages, and the arts. • MS Athletics— provides every student the opportunity to try a variety of sports, to develop their skills and to foster sportsmanship. • Our After-School Educational Program— offers students over twenty activities through which they can grow and learn. Choices include digital photography, cooking club, drawing and robotics. Large-group activities on Fridays include skiing, mini-golf and rock climbing.
