DESCRIPTION The project was to make an app that would help people eat right and remind them to exercise once a day. It was based on the fact that most people want to be healthier but when it comes to doing it they give in to their cravings which are often not healthy and so the Nike Nutrition app was born. Nike helps athletes

all over the world be stronger and healthier. Itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s time that they gave that know-how to the average person and helped them meet their fitness goals.

DESCRIPTION This field of science is based on the study of sound and its interaction with matter, i.e. solids and fluids. I used the numbers of Univer to correspond to the frequency of the sound (55 roman = 55hz). From there I got a cheap speaker and made some non-newtonian fluid (cornstarch and water) and played the tones

through the speaker while taking pictures of the patterns made in the fluid. Then I took the pictures and traced the voids to determine the patterns using Illustrator.

DESCRIPTION We were tasked with designing an app for use in San Francisco with possible expandability to other places. I decided to make an app that would help you find good local coffee while also telling you about events happening there and at other coffee

shops. For this project I went completely out of my comfort zone and took the chalkboard that you find in some coffee shops and used it in the app to really give it that local coffee shop feel.

DESCRIPTION We were tasked with designing a poster and promotional media for a concert that would shed light on a global cause. I decied to create a pop-punk concert that would raise awareness of human rights violations. For this poster and promo material I wanted to really bring in the punk torn and photocopied look. I accomplished this in an old school manner by tearing

up print layouts and collaging them by hand then overlaying type. For the rest of the material I scanned in some of the torn pieces and used Photoshop and InDesign to get them to the present form.

DESCRIPTION This project was to design packaging for a spirit. I decided to design the bottle as well. I used Chavant clay which is a stiff automotive clay for sculpting car models, followed by RTV silicone to make the mold and clear resin to make the model.

I designed this bottle to be an art piece for the consumer to have in their home. It is designed to look like a melting ice column. Since vodka is known as Russian water I thought it was a clever nod to that.

DESCRIPTION This project was based on a hypothetical conference called EcoEnergy which would promote alternative energies available for public use. In this case the design needed to be super clean to give the feeling of clean energy. It also had to be

very simple yet thought-provoking in order to make people consider clean energy and its potential. The use of line-art and interesting juxtapositions of imagery convey this concept.

DESCRIPTION I did this project to promote an operating system that I wish was in more prevalent use. Ubuntu, a Linux distro, has become one of the most well-known distros of Linux in the world. For those unfamiliar with this system I wanted to indicate the ease and simplicity of Ubuntu. In order to convey to the casual user its

simplicity of operation I chose a line-art style coupled with Ubuntuâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s color palette to create an intriguing project.
