Founded in 1979, McAdams is a full-service civil engineering, land planning, landscape architecture, transportation and geomatics firm headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina with offices in Durham, WinstonSalem and Charlotte, North Carolina and Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. Comprised of over 450 professionals, McAdams is passionate about providing unique and engaging experiences for our clients and our clients’ clients. We understand the importance of a lasting impression and strive to bring life to the collective vision for project success. All design charts a path to the built environment, which may create budgetary or constructability constraints, however our team works to blend creativity with reality which enables a concept to be executed. McAdams includes over 100 professional engineers and engineering designers; 25 registered landscape architects; eight certified planners; 20 professional land surveyors; 10 LEED® certified professionals; six certified floodplain managers; one certified floodplain surveyor; and one certified professional in erosion and sediment control. Our professionals have been structured to function as an extension to our clients’ staffs. We have organized ourselves to provide a full array of services so that we can control quality and delivery schedule to the maximum extent
