Sorcia Minerals has been in Chile since 2016 and in Argentina since 2021, through the Joint Venture Triangle Lithium. The company has a technology developed by Dr. John Burba of International Battery Metals (IBAT), which represents the sustainable future in the exploitation of lithium at an industrial level.

The plant developed by Sorcia / IBAT has several innovations to generate the least possible impact on the ecosystem and communities. This includes the return of 90% of the brine to the salt flat and low water consumption in the industrial process. The plant is modular and rapidly scalable, it can be installed outside or inside a salt flat and extracts over 85% of the lithium contained in the brine.
