Solaroz holds 12,000 hectares of highly prospective mining tenements in the Olaroz Salar – recognised as one of the best locations for lithium in Argentina. The Solaroz tenements are adjacent to the production facilities of Sales de Jujuy, which has been producing lithium carbonate since 2014, and Minera Exar which is also about to commence production of lithium carbonate at its Cauchari-Olaroz project.

Previous exploration work indicates that the same lithium rich brines which are currently being extracted by Sales de Jujuy for production of lithium carbonate, occur beneath the tenements held by Solaroz.

Solaroz is currently undertaking an extensive exploration campaign to define a substantial resource of lithium, which it plans to then develop and become another major producer of lithium from the Olaroz Salar.

Solaroz is majority owned (90%) and operated by Australian Stock Exchange Listed Lithium Energy Limited (ASX: LEL).
