McCallie Art

2013

Whether as a form of expression or exploration, the arts facilitate connections among us vital to our life and our culture. As an art instructor, I have committed my life to learning through making, viewing and engaging with art. Curating the McCallie School Art Catalog for 2013 has been a great challenge as there were many worthy submissions. I am very impressed with the quality of work and the range of types of art submitted. The breadth of techniques, content, and genre in the art program at the McCallie School is exceptional. Congratulations to all the artists who hold a place within this catalog; and to those who submitted, yet are not included, I hope you will continue to make art and find ways to share it. I commend every one of you for your submissions. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such exceptional artwork.
