DEAR MEMBERS,

With the summer coming to an end and the fall season in the air, football season is upon us! You will be able to view all of our Carolina Panther football games this year at our West Pavilion area all season long with food and drink specials. We will also be bringing back our monthly Champagne Brunch the last Sunday of the month moving forward.

We have some exciting events and activities planned for this upcoming fall season and are looking forward to sharing these experiences with you. We start the month of September out hosting Hank McCrorie, owner of Burly Winery, on September 2nd. I know this is a wine dinner that many of our Members look forward to every year. We then move right in to our Annual Labor Day Weekend Celebration at the pool on Friday, September 3rd with our End of Summer Party and then Monday, September 6th at the pool with a celebration for Labor Day. Both of these events will be full of activities for the whole family to enjoy. We round out the month of September with our annual Men’s Member-Guest “Cates Invitational” Golf Tournament. We are pulling out all of the stops this year to make sure this is an event to be talked about for a long time to come.

In October for our more adventurous Members that enjoy the outdoors we have our Annual Father-Child Campout on October 15th. Participants can enjoy unlimited s’mores and a movie on the front lawn. We encourage our Father’s to pitch a tent and enjoy the great outdoors with their favorite little people. For the better“ halves” this year we are hosting a Mommy Mixer at the West Pavilion the same night. We hosted our first Blues, Brews, and BBQ event last October and we had such great feedback that we are bringing it back again this year on October 23rd. We finish the month of October with our Annual Halloween Spooktacular this year on Friday, October 29th. We will have haunted hay rides, spooky ghost tours, and of course our monster mash party as well! Our family here at Providence continues to grow at an astronomical rate. So, I would like to let the new Members know as well as remind some of our seasoned Members about some events that we host every week for our Members to enjoy. Wine-Down-Wednesday is held on Wednesday’s of every week. We offer half price bottles of wine on this night for our Members that dine with us in the dining room or bar and lounge areas. We also host our Member Birthday night on Thursday’s every week. Come join us in the dining room or bar and lounge area for a complimentary entrée and dessert of your choice on one of these Thursday nights during the month of your birthday. Our most popular weekly Member event we host happens every Friday night where we offer our $5 Friday appetizer selections. The Chef and his culinary team create three $5 tapas style appetizers for you to enjoy and the bartenders pour $5 glasses of wine and craft $5 cocktail as well. This is an event that I know a lot of our Members look forward to every week and it is always a good time! Keep your eye out for our monthly Spirits and Cigar nights as well which continues to have a following and gain interest. The last Sunday of every month we hold our Champagne Brunch. Our culinary team puts out a beautiful spread of breakfast and brunch items, omelets made to order right in front of you, and of course unlimited mimosa’s! I personally know how difficult it is to find someone to watch the kids when you just want an adult night out. For those parents that want to attend one of our dinners or events we do offer child watch in our Providence Playhouse and generally have a kid’s night out for all of our major adult events. They can have a night out with their friends with their own entertainment and activities while you enjoy yourself too. I hope you all have a great rest of your summer!
