OKONOMIYAKI MUSEUM December 17, 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Learn all about Okonomiyaki ‘Japanese Pancake’! It is a local soul dish layered with chopped vegetable, your choice of meat and egg on a grill. We will visit Wood Egg, the museum of Okonomiyaki. Experience cooking it on the grill! ¥1,000 due upon registration. Please bring Apron, Bandanna (to cover your hair while cooking), ID and extra yen on the event day. The tour requires participants standing throughout the tour. Sign-up starts on November 17. The Cultural Adaptation Program offers guided bus tour of local venues and attractions. The only requirement is that you pre-register in person with the Personal and Professional Development Office in Bldg. 411, Rm. 101. The tour is open to all SOFA status personnel and their dependents age 13 and older. **Minimum of 5 patrons are required for this trip, otherwise the trip will be cancelled.** §253-6161
