HITT Ultimate Tactical Athlete Challenge Results
Three Marines from our local commands with the top scores in the HITT preliminary events held in July were chosen to compete: Capt J. Pryor (MCRD Male), Sgt D. Olmo (MCRD Female) and SSgt M. Grudowski (MCAS Female). These Marines represented their installations with passion, determination and the highest level of respect to 29 Palms staff and senior command. It is with pleasure that we would like to announce the standings of our local Marine competitors. Please join us in congratulating these Marines for their accomplishments: Capt Pryor - finished 3rd of 16 SSgt Grudowski - finished 4th of 18 Sgt Olmo - finished 9th of 18
By Jonathan Hutchison, MCCS SC HITT Coordinator
The Inaugural HITT Ultimate Tactical Athlete Championship held in 29 Palms, CA was a complete success and one of the best representations of what the future holds as the evolution of tactical athletes expands. 34 Marines from across the globe came to compete for this ultimate title. The event was held over a 3-day period where the Marines were challenged to complete 5 grueling tactical fitness events. Each event was designed to tax every energy system of the body all while maintaining a steady mind and tactical maneuvering to include a scored fire range simulator.
