Northern Light
Tucked into a deep valley amid the mountains of New Hampshire’s northernmost county is a place that, for centuries, has been a bright spot in that remote area. It’s The Balsams, a resort hotel named for the fragrant firs that surround it. It was the scene of many weddings until 2011, when it closed.
