L-Lynch take part in A14 family fun day
Dan’s the Man for Safety
Dan Smith, a well respected HGV operative and Lynch driver was recently on site at Waterloo Station in London, a Skanska project where he delivered talks to over 200 workers on the Wessex Capacity Scheme about the dangers and hazards around HGV’s in London.
Director Rob Lynch commented: “Dan was fantastic at Waterloo, he really engaged with people and his passion for promoting safe practices makes me incredibly proud to have him as part of the Lynch team.”
On Saturday the 24th June L-Lynch plant hire were invited to take part in a family fun day at the A14 project in Cambridgeshire. L-Lynch supported the event with a state of the art plant simulator, plant machinery to view and sit in along with goodies and a stall. L-Lynch's offering was joined by Bouncy castles, live events, BBQ and a dog show along with the great weather led to a great day. The event was attended by nearly 500 people including Lynch staff and plant operators. L-Lynch's Chris Gill commented "it was great to see our staff who support the project enjoy the day with their families, everyone has worked extremely hard on the project on its first year and this is a great way for everyone to relax and enjoy the day"

London to Brighton 2017
On one of the hottest days of the year Matthew Payne, Craig McCormack, Jason Cracknell and myself, along with others completed the London to Brighton bike ride, completing the 54 mile ride in just over 5 hours, although I think Jason Cracknell beat that by a fair bit. The beacon nearly killed me, only making it up half way up before the legs wouldn’t work anymore, 2 of them made it up the beacon without stopping in 16
minutes for those that don’t know its hill a mile long with 10% - 16% gradient, it’s a leg destroyer on a normal day- never mind the heat, the whole team made it to Brighton in one piece although very tired – and a few cold beers where had on the finish line. A massive thankyou to everyone who supported us with both motivation and financial donations and help us raise over £1000 for the British heart foundation that
